QMK Firmware Update Tutorial (Windows)

Using V5 Max ANSI Knob as an example.

1. Click "Connect"

2. Click your keyboard name

3. Click "Connect"

4. Click "Next"

5. Click "Download Toolbox"

6. Waiting for download to complete

7. Open containing folder

8. Right-click the file "driver", then click "Run as administrator"

9. Click "Tools" in the top-left corner, then click "Install Drivers"

10. Click "Yes"

11. Wait for the process to complete

12. Click "Next"

13. Unplug the cable

14. Hold "esc" and plug the cable back in

15. Click "Match device"

16. Click "STM32 BOOTLOADER" and "Connect"

17. Click "Flash Firmware"

18. Wait for the update to complete — a success message will appear.

Do not disconnect the keyboard during the process.
