No. The G6 HE uses a 24-step optical encoder without contact. With non-contact optical sensing, it significantly reduces physical contact wear, greatly minimizing the risk of line skips and responsiveness loss over time.

G6 HE gives players multiple weight options. The swappable-battery version can go down to approximately 39 g in wired mode with the battery removed, starts at approximately 46 g for wireless play with the battery installed, and can be tuned with optional weight blocks for a more planted feel. A built-in-battery version is also available at approximately 42 g for a simpler dedicated ultralight setup.

The swappable-battery version is built for players who do not want charging to interrupt the match. When the battery runs low, you can swap in a fresh one in about 3 seconds and keep playing, while the Turbo-Link 8K receiver keeps the spare battery charging on your desk.

G6 HE uses a 123mm-class symmetrical ergonomic shape designed primarily for palm and claw grip. Its fuller rear profile supports the palm, while the tapered waist gives your fingers more control for quick lifts, repositioning, and stable aim.

For everyday customization, G6 HE works with the browser-based Keychron Launcher web app, so you can adjust settings without installing dedicated software. Once saved to the mouse, your settings can stay with G6 HE when you connect it to another device.

G6 HE will be available in seven colorways: Frosted Pink, Frosted Mint, Frosted Lavender, Frosted Ice, Frosted Smoke, White, and Black. The Frosted colorways are available on the swappable-battery version, bringing a translucent look and more personality to competitive setups.

G6 HE uses the PixArt PAW3955 sensor, giving it a flagship-level tracking foundation for fast flicks, sudden stops, and precise micro-adjustments.
